Perfect Segway tour if you prefer the outdoors

Don’t you feel like a cultural visit today? Or do you just want to enjoy, and ride a Segway, while exploring one of the greenest areas of Madrid?
Then this is the tour for you! River Manzanares and its linear park are a part of Madrid’s citizens’ life. Before uncared for and polluted area, the river was transformed between 2003 and 2007, and turned into a 10 km long green area in which old bridges, new infrastructure, sport installations and gardens mesh together, creating a big and unique space in the capital, dedicated to sport, leisure and culture. To begin with your guide will teach you how to use the Segway and talk to you about the safety with the machine and during the tour. Than we will begin with visiting the Royal Palace, that in the past housed within its walls the Spanish monarchy, and the Cathedral of Almudena, the last Spanish cathedral to be completed, where we will have an opportunity for some amazing pictures of both buildings. Along all the tour you will have fun listening to the incredible stories that our guides have for you.

My 15 year old son and I really enjoyed this 2 hour tour with our awesome guide Bayona. Only took 5 minutes to learn how to operate the Segway. Absolute blast touring the city and its massive park. Was a group of 4 people plus the guide.

Riding down the riverside

We will ride down through Athens Park to river Manzanares. We will cross the river at the King’s Bridge and have a chance to visit a great view spot in the garden of Huerta de la Partida, where we can admire the palace and the cathedral from below. From there we will be able to run through the park going on its spacious 5 km long bike lane on the left bank. The group will have the chance to visit Andorra’s and Toledo’s bridge, Pierrault Bridge, Arganzuela Gardens and drive all the way down to the famous Matadero, the old slaughterhouse recently turned into a cultural center.

What's included:

  • guiding
  • segway rent
  • free photo service
  • safety training
  • bottle of water
  • helmets rent
  • raincoats (if it rains)
